Job Summary
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is the location sales leader responsible for assisting the branch in achieving sales and performance goals. The BDM oversees the attainment of sales and gross profit goals through proactive business development and growth of the customer base. This is a non-supervisory role, although the incumbent may provide general coaching and guidance to associates regarding job performance, conduct, tardiness, or attendance.
Responsibility
Generate new business through proactive outside and inside sales efforts.
Develop and expand relationships with existing and prospective clients, re‑engaging inactive accounts.
Create and present quotes to prospective customers while maintaining target margins.
Analyze sales data to meet and exceed performance metrics.
Support branch profit and loss (P&L) performance, manage accounts receivables, billing, and collections.
Ensure compliance with company policies and risk management standards, including conducting safety reviews and managing workers’ compensation.
Adapt and use technologies to support sales, operations, and team success.
Maintain strong communication and relationships with clients by performing site visits and troubleshooting challenges.
Ensure associate success by understanding client needs and fostering associate engagement.
Address and resolve client and associate concerns effectively.
Actively promote Labor Finders’ services through community outreach and social media efforts.
Compensation and Benefits
Annual salary between $57,400 and $61,400 based on experience and skill set.
Bonus / Commission: UNCAPPED. Many of our successful Business Development Managers earn between high five figures and low six figures; earnings structure is uncapped, so the sky is the limit.
Workdays: Monday‑Friday with occasional weekends.

Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of business to business sales experience.
Sales expertise in prospecting, relationship building, and business development.
Strategic thinker with excellent problem‑solving and organizational skills.
Staffing industry experience is a plus.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Willingness to travel the majority of the time within the territory.
Ability to work in a moderately busy office environment.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
