
Human Resource (HR) Technology Workforce Manager

Summary
Human Resource (HR) Technology Workforce Manager is responsible for the technology used in workforce areas, including all workforce and leave technology. Responsibilities include application configuration, data governance, environment management, testing, maintenance, and change management. The Manager oversees platform management, employee experience, interface design, and data flows, and collaborates with IT on access, integration, and data/application security. This role provides leadership across multiple functional areas within the HR Technology team and works with a broad group of leaders across I&T, HR, and other functional areas to provide input on technologies and their application within the ministry.
Essential Job Functions
Manages Kronos time and attendance, leave management areas within HRTS, with an emphasis on the technical components of business needs.
Identifies strategies, risks, and options when gaps are identified and recommends approaches and mitigations to meet business requirements while staying consistent with native architecture.
Mentors, guides, and actively shares knowledge across all team members to enhance in-house expertise.
Works with HRTS Director to lead strategic and tactical planning, and build strategic roadmap.
Proposes enhancements and integrations with other digitalization technologies and platforms as needed to meet HR functional strategies.
Advises functional departments on best practices for Workday business process and system updates, and other configuration changes.
Ensures data integrity, system security, and testing of system changes.
Leads team in research of new technologies and system solutions and presents recommendations to leadership.
Manages full life cycle HRTS projects and the associated project planning.
Ensures alignment with Employee Services support functions and business processes.
Required Minimum Education
Bachelor's/4 year degree; Management Information Systems or similar degree.
Minimum Years And Type Of Experience Required
5-7 years of workforce management experience.
