Job Overview
The Production Technician I is responsible for learning and performing activities supporting day-to-day production operations in the assigned area. Completes routine procedures under direction.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.

Prepare the necessary products for the next day's production.

Assist Documentation Department with troubleshooting any formulation deviations.

Perform routine procedures, such as preparation of media, dispensing, labeling, and/or washing vessels.

Maintain equipment in proper working order.

Collaborate with manager, team lead, and team members daily to meet product deadlines.

Follow all Standard Operating Procedures for assigned tasks and area.

Maintain appropriate training schedule as it pertains to primary occupational duties.

Maintain accurate inventory of materials (raw materials, containers, hoses, and any other materials necessary for assigned tasks) and assist with proper ordering to ensure sufficient amounts are retained.

Accurately record all completion data into the appropriate database, and/or complete all necessary paperwork.

Learn new procedures and accept new assignments within reasonable timeframes, as agreed upon by employee and supervisor.

Recognize problems, troubleshoot malfunctions in procedures, and use alternative methods if available.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

Prior work experience.

Background in Chemistry or related science preferred.

Good human relations and oral/written communication skills.

Ability to perform mathematical calculations on basic dilutions and conversions.

Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

Ability to stand on feet for a total of 8-10 hours daily.

Must be able to carry, lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
