
HR Coordinator

Gagosian is currently seeking a bright, passionate, and organized Human Resources Coordinator to support the London HR team.
This is a temporary contract for 12 months with a potential to go permanent.
Recruitment and Onboarding
Partner with the HR Manager and hiring managers to provide support for full‑lifecycle recruitment; including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, initial screening, scheduling interviews, managing the candidate experience and follow up
Manage employee lifecycle records such as updating new hire onboarding and off‑boarding checklists
Issue contracts of employment and complete other new starter documentation, ensuring eligibility for work in the UK has been checked and assisting with any necessary visa requirements
Manage immigration process and keep up to date on changes
Assist with internship recruitment, program and selection process – interface with third‑party vendors, candidates and colleagues
Oversee first‑day induction for new starters
General
Act as point of contact for all routine employee and manager inquiries related to guidance and support on company policies and procedures, and requests for maternity, absence, flexible working applications, parental leave and annual leave
Conduct exit interviews, noting trends and providing analysis to the larger team
Support employees by providing information and assistance throughout the employment lifecycle
Partner with the HR Manager to assist on interviews, investigations and disciplinary actions
Prepare HR correspondence related to probation completions, pay and pension updates, reference requests, leaver letters, internal transfers and employment agreements
Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation, HR policies and human resources best practice to ensure continuous improvement
Provide support to the HR Manager and Global Head of Human Resources where required
Payroll, Benefits, HR Systems
Maintain accurate data on all employees – joiners, leavers, changes to working patterns, employee personal details and absences
Ensure employee records are compliant and up‑to‑date
Support the monthly payroll process related to starters, leavers, changes, TOIL and sickness
Administer various benefits schemes such as Cycle to Work and childcare vouchers
Process all onboarding and off‑boarding tasks
Training
Assist in the facilitation of workshops, booking and organizing in‑house and external training courses
Ensure employee records are up‑to‑date and flag statutory training due dates
Keep abreast of the latest training opportunities available and ensure training remains current
Qualifications and Requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with an ability to listen
Excellent attention to detail
Able to meet deadlines, prioritise and demonstrate excellent time management skills
Prior experience working in a creative environment
High level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
3+ years of experience
Schedule: on‑site, Monday - Friday, 10am – 6pm.
