Opportunity Overview Hematology/Oncology Locums Location: Near Albany, NY Duration: March ongoing (6+ months) Schedule: 2-4 wks/month Clinic Hours: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Call Schedule: 1:5 rotating call; Weeknight call: 4:30 PM 8:30 AM; Weekend call: 24-hour (8:30 AM 8:30 AM); Primarily telephone-only and rare urgent consults requiring in-person evaluation Patient Volume: 1520 patients per day in clinic with approximately 6 new patients per week Scope of Practice: 40% Hematology / 60% Oncology for Outpatient clinic and inpatient call coverage Duties Include: New patient consults and follow-ups, Treatment planning and chemotherapy management and Inpatient rounding during call coverage Staffing Mix: 3 Hem/Onc Physicians, 3 APPs, Dedicated PA support for inpatient service (MondayFriday), Onsite Radiation Oncology support, Highly collaborative team environment EMR: EpicRequirements: Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology, Active New York State medical license What we offer:1099 Contract A+ Malpractice Coverage Credentialing Assistance Full travel and lodging provided
