We are seeking a
Customer Service Technician
whose primary goal is to maintain high customer satisfaction among homeowners by handling warranty requests, performing repairs, and coordinating subcontractors after the closing of a home.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Evaluate homeowner repair issues to determine whether they are warrantable.
Process written or electronic work orders and verbal instructions from a supervisor for homeowner repairs.
Perform necessary repairs to homes, including carpentry, drywall, texture repair, and painting.
Schedule and manage subcontractors to perform designated warranty repairs.
Ensure all repairs comply with company and regulatory standards.
Certify that warranty work is completed within contractor obligations.
Develop and maintain good rapport with subcontractors and homeowners.
Follow up with homeowners to ensure concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
Process charge‑back documentation and invoices.
Conduct all business professionally and ethically to serve customers and increase the company’s goodwill and profit.
Work overtime and travel overnight as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Three or more years of related experience, including carpentry, drywall, texture repair, and painting.
Possess a vehicle capable of carrying supplies, a valid driver's license, and willingness to drive in designated communities during daytime and nighttime.
Excel in effective and positive communication.
Work effectively in high‑pressure situations.
Work independently and be productive without supervision.
Take a systematic approach to carrying out assignments.
Utilize DRH warranty applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Be proficient with MS Office and email.
Be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior customer service experience.
Experience with minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repair work.
