Skilled Trades Recruiter
Staffing Partners | Southeast Wisconsin
Overview
Staffing Partners is seeking a driven and resourceful Skilled Trades Recruiter to support our growing client base in industrial and food manufacturing.
This role will focus on recruiting for high demand positions including Machine Operators, Forklift Operators, CNC Machinists, CNC Programmers, Quality Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, and other skilled trades roles.
This is a fast paced, performance driven position where success is measured by quality hires, speed, and the ability to build strong pipelines of reliable talent.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit, screen, and place candidates in skilled trades and manufacturing roles
Conduct phone interviews to evaluate experience, technical skills, and overall fit
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings
Partner closely with clients to understand hiring needs, shift requirements, and key qualifications
Write and post job ads across multiple platforms including Indeed and internal systems
Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process
Ensure all candidates are fully vetted prior to submission, including work history, reliability, and eligibility requirements
Maintain accurate and up to date records in the ATS
Support onboarding processes and ensure a smooth transition for new hires
Qualifications
2+ years of recruiting experience in manufacturing, industrial, or skilled trades
Strong ability to evaluate candidates for hands on roles such as maintenance, CNC, and machine operation
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
Strong sense of urgency and follow up
Comfortable working with metrics and performance goals
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
Base salary:
$50,000 – $70,000 , based on experience
Commissions paid out monthly.
