What We're Doing
Lockheed Martin Space Systems is dedicated to providing world‑class solutions for military and commercial customers. Within Hypersonic Strike Weapon Systems (HSWS), our focus on the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program ensures that we deliver cutting‑edge solutions to enhance mission success and operational readiness.
Responsibilities
You will lead supply chain activities for a major software supplier for the CPS program. Your primary responsibilities include acting as the main focal point for the subcontractor and the program management office, ensuring seamless communication and strategic alignment across cross‑functional program teams. You will develop sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program needs and support capture opportunities. Additionally, you will manage all costs, quality, schedule, financial, and technical performance requirements to ensure contract milestones are met.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (e.g., Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category Management)
Experience building effective relationships with major subcontractors and cross‑functional stakeholders
Proficiency with Procure to Pay (P2P), or other similar procurement systems
Strong negotiation skills and an understanding of complex contractual terms and conditions
Desired Skills
5+ years experience in subcontract management with a proven record in a complex environment
Experience managing subcontracts with agile software development
Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action
Executive Presence; a high level of professionalism, the ability to delegate effectively, and meet the expectations of multiple internal customers
Brings positivity and enthusiasm to every project, works collaboratively through the process
Location
Denver, Colorado – The work is onsite at a Lockheed Martin Space facility. The position does not support teleworking.
