About the Role
Purvis Gray is seeking a Tax Partner to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead tax engagements and practice growth for privately held companies, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals. You’ll provide both compliance and consulting services across a range of industries while mentoring staff and deepening client relationships.

Responsibilities
Lead complex tax engagements from planning to delivery, including partner-level review and signoff
Deliver consulting and compliance services to privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals
Supervise, mentor, and develop staff in a team-oriented environment
Perform technical tax research and develop strategic recommendations
Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for clients
Manage and grow client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and expand services
Oversee engagement economics including budgeting, billing, and collections
Drive business development and new client acquisition
Review tax forms for individuals (Form 1040 and 1041), Exempt Orgs (Form 990), partnerships (Form 1065), and corporations (Form 1120 and 1120-S)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s in Tax or JD/LLM is a plus)
Active CPA license
Minimum 12+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting
Proven business development success and ability to grow a book of business
Advanced knowledge of flow-through/pass-through taxation
Strong leadership, project management, communication, and client service skills
