Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician II to join our dedicated Maintenance Team. In this role, you will help ensure our beautiful resort remains safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained for both guests and team members. Your work will directly support the guest experience by keeping guest rooms, public areas, and resort facilities in excellent condition. This hands‑on position involves performing maintenance and repairs across a variety of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and life‑safety equipment. You will also assist with troubleshooting issues, responding promptly to maintenance requests, and completing repairs with a strong attention to detail and quality. As part of the Maintenance Team, you will play an important role in executing the property’s Preventive Maintenance Program to ensure all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently and maintained in accordance with company standards.
This is a full‑time position that requires open availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call shifts. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and a physical fitness test.
Job Responsibilities
Partner with Maintenance Technician I on repairs and property‑wide maintenance tasks
Execute preventive maintenance programs across guest rooms, buildings, and equipment
Troubleshoot and respond to maintenance requests quickly and professionally
Perform general repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, furniture/fixture upkeep, and minor installations
Maintain and service all four pools
Assist with emergency responses (power failures, fire alarms, etc.)
Help install or relocate electrical/mechanical systems for renovations and events
Keep workspaces and equipment areas clean, organized, and safe
Protect company assets by securing tools and inventory
Conduct ongoing facility inspections and prioritize repair needs
Uphold safety standards, including Cal OSHA, HazCom, and PPE guidelines
Compensation and Benefits
Pay: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on experience

The ability to multitask, use sound judgment, and work well under pressure
Problem solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected challenges
Basic knowledge of blueprints, wiring diagrams, and hydraulics
Flexibility to work varied schedules and on call shifts
Two of the following certifications:
OSHA 10 (General Industry)
CPO
HVAC
Must be able to perform the essential physical functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation
Speak, hear, and understand speech at normal levels with or without aid. Ability to comprehend, carry out and explain verbal and written instructions.
Ability to see and focus with or without visual aids while doing functions of the job.
General dexterity for firm and simple grasping of objects, such as use of small repair tools.
Constant – walking, standing, use of hands, arms, and legs, grasping, reaching at waist level, bending of neck, use hands to operate objects, tools, and controls.
Frequent – bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting of the neck, exposure to extremes in temperature, humidity, and wetness, walking up and down stairs from one kitchen to another or hotel rooms, carrying up to 25 pounds.
Occasional – climbing up and down ladders up to 32 feet, twisting of waist, power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling, and reaching above and below shoulder level, sitting.
You must have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, bend, stoop and be on knees; reach and lift above, below and at shoulder level; lift and carry equipment and supplies; constantly walk and stand for long periods (up to 4 hours) and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment; walking over uneven ground and up and down stairs to service guests with or without reasonable accommodation
