Responsibilities
Conduct recruitment and onboarding efforts, including the pre‑employment process for new hires
Track turnover and other HR statistics
Assist with new hire orientation and staff training
Complete termination paperwork
Assist with handbook, policy and contract interpretation
Respond to and follow up with unemployment claims; attend hearings as necessary
Assist department managers and administrators with employee retention planning
Provide FMLA, Cobra and workers compensation administration and follow‑up
Education and Experience
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred
Minimum 3 years experience in Human Resources, preferably in the long‑term care setting
