About the Job
We are searching for qualified customer service representatives with a positive personality and people skills. The role involves making, baking or delivering pizzas during the busy hours of the day and night. The position is available as part‑time or full‑time and offers flexibility to accommodate school or personal schedules.
Responsibilities
Operate all store equipment, including ovens, cash registers, and order‑taking devices.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, shelf, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare pizza products according to company standards.
Receive and process telephone orders, providing clear instructions to customers and coworkers.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment, surfaces, and facility approximately daily.
Essential Functions and Skills
Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) accurately and quickly.
Make correct monetary change.
Demonstrate verbal, written, and telephone communication skills for order processing.
Possess motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise, rapid movements.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Requirements
Must be 16 years of age or older for in‑store work.
Must be 18 years of age or older for delivery work.
Work Conditions
Exposure to varying weather conditions during outside tasks; in‑store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F or higher in some areas.
Sudden temperature changes in work area and while outside.
Fumes from food odors.
Exposure to cornmeal dust.
Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Requirements
Standing : Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
Walking : Surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum; work surfaces range from 36" to 48" high.
Walking Short Distances for Short Durations : Required for moving between stations.
Sitting : Paperwork completed at a desk or table.
Lifting :
Bulk product deliveries loaded by hand truck; cases may weigh up to 50 lbs.
Items may be stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
Carrying :
Large cans (approx. 3 lbs).
Pizza sauce cases (approx. 30 lbs).
Trays of pizza dough (approx. 12 lbs per tray).
Pushing/Pulling :
Trays on dollies (24"–30", force up to 7.5 lbs).
Climbing : Infrequent stairs or ladder use for maintenance tasks.
Reaching :
Up, down, and forward continuously; sometimes above 72".
Forward reaching during topping, cleaning, or phone duties.
Hand Tasks :
Eye‑hand coordination essential; continuous use of hands.
Forceful forearm and wrist use during dough shaping.
Manipulate pizza peel and rolling cutter; pinching during box assembly.
