Job Description
Assistant Manager position responsible for operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, using proprietary technology, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, maintaining facility cleanliness, orienting new hires, providing on‑the‑job training, scheduling, staffing, managing food and labor costs, and leading the store team. Requires excellent communication with customers and co‑workers, clear written instruction skills, and the ability to process orders both in person and over the phone.

Essential Functions / Skills

Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) accurately and rapidly; give correct monetary change.

Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.

Demonstrate motor coordination for precise, rapid movements and for entering orders using a keyboard or touchscreen.

Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet strict quality standards, analyze data, make judgments, and collaborate with others.

Work Conditions
Work involves varying and sometimes adverse weather when handling outdoor tasks, temperature extremes inside the store (36°F to 90°F+), exposure to food fumes and cornmeal dust, hot surfaces/tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical demands include standing, walking, carrying, lifting (up to 50 lb cases), pushing, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and hand‑task coordination. Use of Domino’s technology (app, DSS, delivery tools) and general office equipment is required.
