Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accountant is responsible for selected balance sheet reconciliations for assigned TX-OK facilities. Responsible for meeting month-end closing deadlines. Prepares month-end schedules as required by Regional Finance, internal & external audit schedules as necessary. Participates in departmental improvement initiatives. Practices judgement when analyzing accounts in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Prepares various expense analysis as necessary during month end & compiles statistical information and Journal Entries. Also responsible for Daily AR, Cash & Census stats reconciliations that are sent out to Executive Leadership & Department managers. Responsible for expense analysis presentations for selected facilities. Other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
One of more years of experience in Accounting within a Healthcare setting is preferred
Demonstrate Account analysis skills
Proficient with Excel, Pivots & Smart View
Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
Education / Licensure
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
