1st Shift - Monday - Friday; 7am - 3pm

Responsibilities
Perform various duties related to maintenance and upkeep of machinery, equipment, buildings and grounds, including analyzing operational problems, testing equipment, and correcting issues.
Schedule repairs to meet project schedule and requirements.
Assist in developing and maintaining plans for preventative maintenance for machinery and equipment.
Analyze mechanical, electrical, and operational issues on assigned equipment and develop corrective action.
Make necessary repairs and run adjustments to maintain productivity.
Test equipment and machinery for operation after repairs are made.
Analyze and correct electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
Repair/overhaul hydraulic equipment and controls.
Implement and sustain elimination of recurring equipment issues.
Comply with local, state, federal guidelines as specified in codes.
Comply with plant safety, health and personnel policies.
Identify opportunities that reduce maintenance cost and increase equipment availability.
Use IQMS software to schedule Planned Work activities and report outs.
Complete hazardous waste training within six months of employment and attend reviews every 12 months.
Perform other work as assigned by Management, including 5S cleaning.
Attend all meetings and training as scheduled.
Undertake assigned projects as directed by Plant or Department Manager and maintain a clean and organized work area through general housekeeping and 5S activities.
Other responsibilities as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
Preferred Experience
Minimum 5 years in an Industrial Maintenance setting or two years of Industrial Maintenance coursework and 2 additional years in an Industrial Maintenance capacity.
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Completion of accredited trade school or journeyman’s program preferred.
Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics/diagrams, and knowledge of various testing instruments.
Working knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting, welding and fabrication, and hydraulic/pneumatic applications.
Hands‑on experience with repairing hydraulic systems.
Thorough working knowledge of Preventative Maintenance programs.
Team‑oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
Proven satisfactory work history (attendance and performance); attendance is critical to this position.
Willing to work overtime, including weekends, as necessary.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
