Overview

Stryten Energy manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.
This is a 3rd shift, 11:00pm - 7:00am; Monday - Friday.
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. Salary range for this role is: $68,000 - $72,000 per year.
Responsibilities

Production Supervisors are responsible for overall supervision of all employees on the shift. Lead the shift to maximize output of quality products at minimum costs. Supervise all other plant departments when other Supervisors are not in the facility.

Helps manufacturing staff achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results.
Enforces company policies and guidelines.
Works with new employees.
Assists workers by offering personal growth opportunities.
Implements cost-saving strategies and techniques.
Ensures that production plans are completed by a certain time.
Contacts appropriate sources for repair issues.
Counsels employees on how to achieve an optimal output or workflow.
Resolves issues and disputes between manufacturing employees.
Creates and maintains professional schedules.
Communicates with and assists other manufacturing departments as needed.
Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers.
Compiles and analyzes production records.
Follows all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook and as trained during the various safety-related training programs. Understands and communicates all hazards and safety issues to co-workers and managers/supervisors. Properly uses all personal protective equipment.
Communicate ideas and results to operators, peers, and management.
Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving assistance to facility.
Understands and follows procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area through general housekeeping and 5S activities.
Attend all required trainings and meetings.
Other responsibilities as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
Education, Experience, Skills

Previous supervisory experience
Excellent coaching and communication skills
Broad knowledge of production planning processes
Proficient PC skills using MS Office programs, email and other systems.
Understanding of production requirements and ensure production is meet those requirements
Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting
Bilingual is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to drive tasks to completion.
Able to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
Ability to communicate accurately and comfortably with all levels of management.
Ability to follow all environmental, health and safety procedure
Proven satisfactory work history (attendance and performance). This must be maintained. Attendance is critical to this position.
Physical Demands and Environment

This position requires you to be on site at our Niagara Falls, NY location.
Sitting, standing, walking, and twisting as required.
Will be exposed to extreme environmental conditions (hot, cold, humid).
Occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
Travel as required to meet business needs.
