Job Description A scheduler that develops detailed schedules for design engineering projects. Coordinates and represents the department in project, engineering, and scheduling meetings.
Responsibilities Plans and schedules work based on system priorities, workload demand, and available resources to ensure timely execution of field activities.
Ensures design engineering schedules are properly resource loaded; manages schedule adjustments and re-optimization as conditions change.
Partners with internal stakeholders to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure priority work is executed efficiently.
Monitors and communicates design engineering schedule updates.
Forecasts workload with internal and external workgroups on resource planning, availability, and workload balancing.
Identifies scheduling constraints or deficiencies, analyzes alternatives, and recommends solutions to mitigate conflicts and service impacts.
High level of understanding of Primavera P6 functions.
Available to work additional hours, alternate locations, or additional duties during storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company.
Minimum Experience B.S. Degree in Engineering or other scientific discipline generally associated with power plant operations or equivalent work experience.
Scheduler, Sr: At least 6 years of scheduling experience.
Preferred Experience & Skills Prior nuclear experience.
Prior design engineering scheduling experience.
Understanding of PowerBi and other analysis tools.
Experience implementing a new or redefined scheduling program within an organization.
