
Product Demonstrator Part Time

Associate demo specialist responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. Acquires and maintains product knowledge, prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies, and intercepts consumers to demonstrate products professionally. Maintains a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Responsibilities
Possess aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers positively.
Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Properly set up and prepare event table for execution.
Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
Complete expense reports as per company policy.
Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or 1‑3 months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
Proficient at using and navigating personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Local food handlers permit may be required.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances and supplies, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Work Environment:
Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance:
Must maintain professional appearance and grooming; specific retailer dress code requirements provided in training documents.
Language Skills:
English primary; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
