She Recruits is partnering with a high-volume South Texas community hospital to recruit Emergency Medicine Physicians for a 1099 opportunity offering strong hourly compensation and steady, manageable volume.
This is a well-supported ED environment with broad specialty coverage and balanced acuity.
Compensation (1099)Board Certified Emergency Medicine
- $280/hour (Day)
- $300/hour (Night)
Not Board Certified in EM (FP/IM with ED experience)
- $270/hour (Day)
- $285/hour (Night)
Competitive differential for night coverage.
Schedule- 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- 12-hour shifts
APP support coverage:
- 11:00 AM 9:00 PM
- 2:00 PM 12:00 AM
Team-based physician + APP model.

- 4-bed Express Care (APP staffed)
- Level IV Trauma designation
- 25,500 annual ED visits
- 70 visits per day

- Patient satisfaction metrics actively monitored
- Admission rate: 10%

- Average patients per hour:
- MD: 1.4
- APP: 1.6

Requirements- BC in Emergency Medicine or
- BC in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with ED experience
- ACLS required
- ATLS required
- PALS required
- Texas license or eligibility
