This well-established healthcare system operates a comprehensive outpatient cancer center that serves the adult and geriatric population in the region. The facility utilizes EPIC documentation systems and maintains Level II Trauma Center designation, providing advanced medical care with modern technology and supportive clinical infrastructure.

Job Details:
• Coverage dates from September 1, 2026 through January 18, 2027 for maternity leave coverage
• Outpatient cancer center setting with Monday and Wednesday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No on-call or weekend availability required
• Average of 13 outpatient patients per day and 2 hospital patients for rounding
• Practice composition: 60% Hematology, 40% Oncology
• Work alongside 1 physician and 1 APP in the practice
• Provide comprehensive outpatient hematology/oncology care including patient evaluations
• Order and interpret laboratory results and imaging studies
• Prescribe appropriate treatments and participate in tumor board discussions
• Chemotherapy administration handled by nurse oncologist
• Serve adult and geriatric patient population
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system
• Must maintain Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology
• Active Ohio medical license preferred
• BLS certification required with clean background check
• Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 120 days
• Travel expenses covered including flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rate
