Position Summary
We are currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to work at Park Place Apartments in McAlester, OK. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs, applying specialized skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and assistance to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Duties
Repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, commodes, sinks and perform basic carpentry.
Carry out preventive maintenance duties as needed.
Complete work orders and documentation to ensure all maintenance operations are recorded properly.
Commit to exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate has HVAC certification and at least 3 years of Maintenance Technician experience.
Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Able to move heavy equipment safely using proper equipment.
Available for emergency maintenance calls 24/7.
Normal work hours usually 8am‑5pm, Monday‑Friday (may vary slightly by season); occasional overtime required.
Background screening and drug test required.
