Job Description
Leading local automotive parts manufacturer is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our HR team. Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to work independently to prioritize and meet the changing needs of the organization.
Responsibilities
Provide HR support to the HR Director, management, supervisors, and associates.
Exercises positive employee relations and exhibits a high level of professionalism and confidentiality to maintain the integrity of the HR department.
Assists managers and supervisors with employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, and corrective actions.
Recruitment - Recruits and manages onboarding process including advertising, screening, interviewing, pre-employment testing, new hire paperwork, orientation.
Manages open positions in Kronos, internal job bids, and other HR duties.
Requirements
Bachelor degree from a 4 year college or university (3 years of related work experience or training, or an equivalent combination or education and experience.)
PHR, or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
Sound judgement and problem solving ability with strong relationship building skills.
Experience with Kronos or similar HRIS.
Excellent computer skills required.
Prior HR experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
