We are seeking a Traveling VOIP Engineer to join our team in Frederick, MD. This is a full-time on-site role that involves up to 65% travel. The VOIP Engineer will focus on deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining Voice over IP (VoIP) systems and telephony solutions. Additional responsibilities include providing technical support, optimizing networking performance, and collaborating with the technical support team to resolve issues efficiently. This role demands a highly skilled and adaptable professional who is excited to work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Voice over IP (VoIP) systems and Telephony solutions
Proficiency in Troubleshooting and providing efficient Technical Support
Strong knowledge of Networking concepts, including configuration and optimization
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Willingness and ability to travel up to 65% of the time
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is preferred
$50/hr to $65/hr. With travel billable, so potential for overtime pay.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
