This hybrid role requires working onsite in Fort Collins, CO several days per week.
We’re looking for an Accounting & Tax Professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. This position functions like managing a mini‑practice within a larger firm, overseeing all accounting and tax matters for a portfolio of 40–50 clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and supervise Staff Accountants, ensuring high‑quality work and professional growth
Serve as the technical resource for accounting and processing questions
Review monthly financial statements prepared by Staff Accountants
Conduct initial strategy sessions with new clients and manage onboarding before transitioning accounts to staff
Build strong, long‑term client relationships and act as a strategic advisor
Monitor client profitability and recommend fee adjustments when appropriate
Perform annual tax planning, prepare and review tax returns, address tax questions, and respond to tax authorities
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least five years of public accounting experience (excluding audit, government, or private‑sector roles)
CPA or EA designation, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one
A servant‑leader mindset with the ability to mentor and inspire
Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in client relationships
A collaborative, accountable team player who is humble, proactive, and growth‑oriented
Someone who contributes positively to a strong, healthy workplace culture
Compensation
Expected annual salary:
$90,000–$125,000
