
Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the General Ledger (GL) Accounting team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounting, this role will play a key part in the month-end close process, maintaining balance sheet account schedules, and analyzing variances.
The ideal candidate will support general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, while collaborating with Accounting and Finance leadership. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations with a high level of accuracy
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including internal reporting
Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
Analyze financial data and investigate variances, providing clear explanations
Assist in preparing schedules and documentation for internal and external audits
Support audit requests and ensure timely delivery of required information
Contribute to financial reporting and ad hoc analysis as needed
Participate in special projects and additional accounting tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
Experience with enterprise accounting systems
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think strategically and solve problems effectively
CPA preferred but not required
