Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Salary: $1,594.29 - $1,794.29 /wk Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. Minimum Requirements: National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or ARRT-sono. Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer. BLS Certification. Experience with GE ultrasound equipment and GE Centricity PACS preferred. Experience documenting in Meditech preferred. Experience performing general ultrasound, vascular, and obstetric procedures. Ability to support emergency department turnaround time and work in a trauma and stroke certified hospital setting. Willingness to float to freestanding emergency department (FSED) locations and take call as needed. ARDMS or ARRT-sono required; RVT preferred but not required. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital. Shift Name: Nights. Shift Details: Nights 1900-0730. Unit: Ultrasound / Medical Imaging. Equipment: GE ultrasound machines; 3 ultrasound machines on unit. Documentation Systems: Meditech and GE Centricity PACS. Scheduling Notes: Department schedules include need for Friday-Sunday coverage; may require floating to FSED and taking call.
