Sr. Accountant (Healthcare)

Our client is looking to hire a Sr. Accountant with experience in healthcare. This Sr. Accountant will play a key part in managing the day-to-day accounting operations and supporting the overall accounting cycle. This position will work closely with leadership to help build, improve, and maintain accounting processes while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and drive the monthly close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Maintain and improve the full accounting cycle and related processes
Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and GAAP compliance
Partner with leadership to identify efficiencies and process improvements
Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed
Ideal Profile:
Healthcare accounting experience strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3-6+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and GAAP
Experience working in a process‑improvement or growth‑oriented environment
CPA preferred but not required
