Logistics Qualification Specialist
Job purpose:
As a Logistics Qualification Specialist, you support External Manufacturing (EM) operations by qualifying shipping solutions across cold chain (2–8°C and frozen) and controlled ambient temperature ranges (15–25°C and 20–25°C), dangerous and non-dangerous goods for both commercial materials and samples. You contribute to the creation, review, and maintenance of shipping qualification protocols, including packaging system selection, temperature‑control strategies, and lane suitability assessments, ensuring compliance with GDP/GMP requirements.
Responsibilities:
Qualify shipping solutions for cold chain, controlled ambient temperature ranges, and dangerous
on-dangerous goods to support External Manufacturing operations.
Develop, review, and execute shipping qualification protocols, including packaging system selection, temperature‑control strategies, and route suitability assessments.
Manage Veeva workflows, ensuring timely reviews, approvals, and documentation updates.
Conduct shipping validation studies, assess temperature-mapping data, and evaluate solution performance against established criteria.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and Logistics Service Providers to ensure transport solutions meet GDP/GMP compliance.
Maintain accurate qualification documentation for audits, inspections, and governance requirements.
Support qualification for new or changed shipping lanes, packaging configurations, products, or Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMO) while ensuring compliance with GDP/GMP expectations.
Provide technical logistics input for EM projects, product transfers, and launches, while ensuring site readiness and training.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields (preferred).
Experience:
3+ years in supply chain/logistics with a solid background acquired through working experience in the numerous legs of the supply chain, and ideally managing complex projects.
Skills:
Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, ability to lead interconnected technology projects, and excellent communication with global stakeholders.
Foundational to intermediate-level experience (3–5 years) in pharmaceutical logistics, shipping qualification, cold chain management, or other quality‑regulated environments.
