A Quality Specialist is responsible for performing a range of inspection functions to ensure the accuracy and quality of parts.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed inspections of manufactured components
Follow established procedures and instructions to ensure the accuracy and quality of inspected items
Conduct testing and measurement tasks using a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
Use precision measuring instruments to check for deviation from specifications
Maintain records and documentation of inspection results
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Skillsets
Blueprint reading experience
Basic analytical skills
Ability to work as part of a team and undergo cross‑training
Effective communication skills
* Hiring for 3rd shift. All training will be on 1st shift for up to 2 months before moving to hired shift.
