Overview Business Development Liaison (RN / RRT) at Select Specialty Hospital – Orlando South, Critical Illness Recovery Hospital (LTACH).
A day in the life You’ll advocate for referred patients in the pre-admission process by collaborating with clinical teams to assess patient needs. You will serve as a resource for healthcare professionals by fostering relationships within medical facilities. With clinical expertise and problem-solving skills, you’ll coordinate care plans with physicians and families, and facilitate patient transfers while addressing barriers to accessing specialized post-ICU care.
What we offer Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities Work with physicians, discharge planners, and patients\' families to plan the best continuum of care after an ICU or post-surgical stay by utilizing strong clinical background, payer knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
Perform clinical assessments of referred patients, then counsel patients\' families to assist them in making the best care decisions for their loved one.
Partner with hospital case managers and physicians to create a smooth pre-admission and transfer process by removing payer-related and operational barriers for patients entering our level of care.
Required Skills Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) license.
Will consider other designations like LPN, PT, OT, etc., upon further review.
Ability to complete clinical assessments of medically complex patients.
Preferred skills Demonstrated success in patient advocacy.
Superior communication and relationship-building skills.
Prior healthcare marketing or business development experience is preferred, but extensive training is provided on this piece.
