Position Overview
We are seeking a
Technology Intern
to help unlock insights from our
Tessitura CRM and ticketing data . This role will support data exploration, modeling, and reporting to better understand patron behavior, ticket sales, donations, and marketing effectiveness. The intern will work closely with the data, marketing, and development teams to transform complex transactional data into actionable insights that support audience growth and engagement. By the end of the internship, the intern will have hands‑on experience working with real‑world CRM and ticketing datasets in the arts and nonprofit sector, and will be able to translate technical analyses into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Extract, clean, and analyze data from Tessitura and related systems
Explore patron behavior including ticket purchases, donations, subscriptions, and engagement history
Build analytical datasets and features from transactional CRM data
Develop predictive or exploratory models (e.g., churn risk, donor likelihood, attendance forecasting)
Create dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
Partner with marketing and development teams to support audience segmentation and campaign analysis
Document data pipelines, modeling approaches, and findings
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
Experience with Python or R for data analysis
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
Experience with data wrangling and exploratory data analysis
Ability to communicate insights clearly
