We’re currently looking for a
VMS Technical Support Specialist
to join our team and play a critical role in supporting our
Voluntary Milking System (VMS) —advanced robotic milking technology transforming modern dairy operations.
What You’ll Do
As a VMS Technical Support Specialist, you’ll be the technical backbone supporting DeLaval dealers and field technicians by:
Supporting
installation, start-up, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
of VMS systems and related equipment
Logging and responding to calls and tickets via our
VMS helpdesk
Participating in a
24/7/365 rotating on-call schedule
for urgent troubleshooting
Providing field technicians with
up-to-date technical guidance
Performing
remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
Escalating unresolved technical issues as needed
Taking on additional responsibilities as assigned by the VMS Technical Support Manager
What You Bring
Strong verbal and written
communication skills
Ability to
work independently
in a technical support environment
Knowledge of:
Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, and vacuum systems
Comfortable with computers and technology:
Advanced
Windows
skills
Spanish language skills
are a plus
Willingness to travel
50–75% within the U.S. , with occasional international travel
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree
in Engineering, Agriculture, or a related discipline
OR
5+ years of experience
as a field service technician
Dairy industry experience is a plus
