We are working with an award-winning law firm, looking for an Associate Attorney to join their team. They are seeking someone who has 1+ years of experience.
Requirements
1+ years of experience
1+ years of deposition experience
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law in Louisiana
Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of cases, from initial claim evaluation to final resolution.
Conduct thorough legal and factual research, and develop effective defense strategies for clients.
Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies.
Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position is between 110k-140k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
