Process Instrument Calibration Technician (Industrial/Pharma)

About The Role
As a CBRE Process Instrument Calibration Technician supporting a client with a GMP/GLP development facility in Indianapolis, requires a strong emphasis on customer service, asset utilization, and scientific innovation. The technician will conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs on process instrumentation equipment, including resolving sophisticated technical equipment issues. A detailed understanding of electrical and electronic systems, user documentation, and CMMS software is critical for this role.

What You’ll Do

Provide preventive maintenance, calibration, repairs and solving service for all of the process related instrumentation equipment in building.

Work closely with Process Engineers and lab Chemists to differentiate between equipment and method problems.

Work is performed on all types of systems: Pressure and Temperature Transmitters, Agitator RPM controllers, Analysis Transmitters (e.g., pH and DO2 Transmitters), Pressure and Temperature controllers, Delta V Foundation Field bus, Device Net, PLC controlled devices and all related data and communication equipment.

Perform fixing on loops and calibration of sensors, transmitters, controllers and actuators including repairs on control modules, components and mechanical part replacements.

What You’ll Need

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4‑5 years of job‑related experience; a combination of experience and education may be considered. Licenses or certifications may be required by local law or ordinance. Prior shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.

Must possess an active, valid driver’s license.

Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
