Security Officer Armed Patrol Officer – Miami, FL

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific procedures, government location policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed patrol post.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while documenting security‑related concerns and/or notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit‑related facilities, public access areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and support compliance with location rules, post orders, and/or applicable reporting requirements.
Maintain a visible armed presence, interact professionally with the public, and assist with security‑related responses during escalated situations, service disruptions, and/or emergencies.
Minimum Requirements
Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
