We’re hiring an Interior Design Assistant who’s excited to roll up their sleeves and jump into new home design projects in Chattanooga's most stunning communities. You’ll work alongside our award-winning design team, help bring beautiful homes to life, and gain real-world experience in client presentations and project coordination in a dynamic, team‑driven setting.
What You’ll Do
Update templates and maintain project documentation
Take detailed notes and track selections during design meetings
Format presentations and spreadsheets for client meetings and internal use
Import and verify selections from design meetings
Perform selection checklists on approved selections
Assist Interior Designers before, during, and after client meetings
Correspond professionally with clients
Design spec homes as needed following provided guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a design‑related discipline
Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a construction or design environment
Tech‑savvy with a self‑starter mindset — quick to adapt and willing to explore new tools and techniques
Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects
Strong written and verbal communication — collaborative and client‑facing
Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Acrobat, Google Slides, and Google Sheets

This is a Chattanooga‑based role. Candidates must live locally or be willing to relocate.
Must be comfortable with up to 15% local travel for community visits, frequent visits to construction sites, including walking on uneven terrain, stairs, planks, or ladders, with potential exposure to inclement weather.
