We’re hiring a Interior Design Assistant who’s excited to roll up their sleeves and jump into new home design projects in Chattanooga's most stunning communities. You’ll work alongside our award-winning design team, help bring beautiful homes to life, and gain real-world experience in client presentations and project coordination in a dynamic, team-driven setting.
What You’ll Do
- Update templates and maintain project documentation
- Take detailed notes and track selections during design meetings
- Format presentations and spreadsheets for client meetings and internal use
- Import and verify selections from design meetings
- Perform selection checklists on approved selections
- Assist Interior Designers before, during, and after client meetings
- Correspond professionally with clients
- Design spec homes as needed following provided guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline
Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a construction or design environment
Tech-savvy with a self-starter mindset — quick to adapt and willing to explore new tools and techniques
Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects
Strong written and verbal communication — collaborative and client-facing
Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Acrobat, Google Slides, and Google Sheets

Location & Travel
- This is a Chattanooga-based role. Candidates must live locally or be willing to relocate.
- Must be comfortable with up to 15% local travel for community visits, frequent visits to construction sites, including walking on uneven terrain, stairs, planks, or ladders, with potential exposure to inclement weather.
