Overview
Perform maintenance and inspection of construction and mining equipment, engine, or other assets as assigned. Maintenance is performed according to each manufacturer’s recommended schedule. Dispose of waste oils, fluids, and filters in accordance with State and company regulations. Assist senior-level lube technicians where required and observe closely to gain knowledge. While working as a PM Technician – Class I, you will be in an on‑the‑job training status.
Scope of Work

Dispose of waste oils, fluids, and filters in accordance with State and company regulations. Assist senior-level lube technicians where required and observe closely to gain knowledge. While working as a PM Technician – Class I, you will be in an on‑the‑job training status.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on construction-type equipment.
Complete service reports, timecards, and other paperwork legibly and understandably.
Ensure all jobs are finished safely and proficiently.
Clean the work site space after each job is finished.
Take advantage of all service schools and training programs offered by the company.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Mechanical aptitude.
Requirements
Understand how the position relates to the overall business and its objectives.
Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier.
Pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirements as outlined by the Department of Transportation.
Lift 50 pounds and be able to bend and twist several times a day.
Effectively and safely operate and test equipment.
Working Conditions
Typical hours Monday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Weekend hours as necessary.
May require work in inclement weather conditions and/or hazardous environments.
Some temporary adjustments to hours of operation as work requires.
