Part-Time Junior Accountant
Pay Rate:
$23/hr - $25/hr
Location:
Manhattan, NY (Union Square) - 3 days per week
Hours:
9:30am - 6:00pm (8 hour work day)
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Management:
Manage the full‑cycle AP process within
NetSuite , processing approximately 10-15 invoices daily.
High-Volume Expense Oversight:
Lead the management of credit card expenses, including:
Processing 50-60 personal reimbursement reports bi‑weekly.
Reconciling ~40 corporate card expense reports weekly.
Managing 5-10 virtual cards per day.
Month‑End Support:
Take initiative on routine tasks to streamline the workflow for the Accounting Director and Senior Accountant, ensuring a timely and accurate month‑end close.
Reconciliation:
Actively reconcile details and investigate discrepancies to ensure all financial data is accurate.
Payroll (Growth Opportunity):
Support bi‑weekly payroll processing. While prior experience is not required, you will be trained to take on these responsibilities over time.
Prior experience in payroll processing is not required; training will be provided.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
