Locums - Greenville, South Carolina (Downtown) - Urology OpportunityPosition Overview:RecruitWell is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to provide locum tenens coverage for a hospital-based practice in Greenville, South Carolina (Downtown). This opportunity offers a collaborative environment with an established team of urologists and support staff. The need is driven by provider vacancies, with coverage required ASAP and ongoing.Assignment Details
  • Open Dates for Downtown:
    • May 8th 6:30am - May 11th -6:30am
    • June 12th 6:30am- June 15th 6:30am
    • August 28th 6:30am - August 31st 6:30am
    • September 25th 6:30am -September 28th 6:30am
    • October 30th 6:30am -November 2nd 6:30am
    • November 13th 6:30am - November 16th 6:30am
    • November 20th 6:30am - November 23rd 6:30am
    • December 18th 6:30am - December 21st 6:30am
  • Shift Schedule: 24-hour coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) including weekdays, weekends, and callback
  • Practice Setting: Hospital-based, 100% inpatient
  • Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
  • Reason for Coverage: Provider vacancies
  • Trauma Designation: Level III
  • Support Services:
    • Lab and X-ray available onsite
    • Collaboration with 5 other Urologists in the group
  • Site Flexibility: Provider must be willing to cover Eastside and Downtown locations
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive inpatient urologic care
  • Perform consultations and manage hospital-based urologic conditions
  • Conduct surgical and procedural interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in 24-hour call with callback responsibilities
  • Document all patient encounters accurately in the facility's EMR
Required Procedures
  • General Urology
  • Ureteroscopy
Candidate Requirements
  • Board Certification/Eligibility: Required (Urology)
  • State License: Active South Carolina license requiredCandidates needing to obtain a license will be considered
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS - Required
    • BLS - Required
  • DEA Registration: Required
  • Experience: Recent clinical experience in inpatient urology preferred
  • Flexibility: Must be willing to cover Eastside and Downtown sites
