Job Description
The Pittsgrove Township School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill the following certificated staff vacancies for the 2026-2027 school year:
KINDERGARTEN BRIDGE TEACHER (1013 OR 1001 OR 2475)
Qualifications
Valid New Jersey Certification and Subject Area Endorsement or eligibility
Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods
Ability to work with other professionals in a team environment for the benefit of our students.
Knowledge/experience of using technology in the classroom.
Ability to develop and maintain a positive learning environment.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
Preferred Qualifications
Valid New Jersey P–3 or K–6 Certification; Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement preferred.
Expertise in trauma-sensitive practices and evidence-based positive behavioral supports to foster student resilience and successful school transition.
Experience monitoring student progress through social-emotional checklists and functional behavioral data.
Skilled in partnering with multidisciplinary teams and families to facilitate successful student reintegration.
Employment Terms:
10 months
Effective Date:
July 1, 2026
Salary & Benefits:
$60,244–$92,762, commensurate with experience. Family health benefits provided.
