Job Summary
Responsible for improving pretreatment product quality, reducing the scrap rate in the pretreatment production process, and enhancing output.
Responsibilities
Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Develop, implement, and optimize production workflows, layouts, and standard work.
Support new equipment installation and lead process validation.
Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve issues.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, yield, and downtime.
Support the launch of new automotive glass products and ensure smooth transition into mass production.
Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Language:
English and/or Mandarin (ability to read, understand, interpret documents, and interact effectively with team members, engineers, leadership, and customers).
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Physical Condition:
Regularly required to stand for long periods; turning at waist, reaching, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds; ability to pass static strength requirements (grip); moderate noise level; safety requirements include safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel‑toed work boots.
Other Requirements:
Mathematical skills – ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning ability – ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of variables.
Computer skills – knowledge of and familiarity with manufacturing software.
Competent in solving difficult problems in production; familiar with production management knowledge and ability.
Skilled in leadership, communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Skilled in coating technology, enhancement, and training of subordinates.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
