About the Role
Sound Physicians, a leader in improving quality and reducing the cost of healthcare for patients in the communities we serve, is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and organized self‑starter to join our Finance Operations team as a Senior Financial Analyst focused on hospital medicine services. This is a challenging role with the potential to make a large impact on the service line.
Sound Physicians is investing heavily in growth and is expanding its BD Finance team responsible for developing pro forma models to determine the appropriate program structure and pricing for new business opportunities. This team member will work across the hospital medicine, emergency medicine, critical care, and anesthesia service lines. The team member will report to the Director of Finance and will often interact with the Senior VP of Finance, Chief Growth Officer, Regional VPs of Business Development, and Business/Clinical Operations.
The Details: This opportunity is remote, work from home, and will require 1-2 weeks of travel per year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing financial pricing models for new business and working closely with the Business Development team, Operational leaders, and Clinical leaders
Gathering information from potential customers and tracking information received / needed to prepare the financial pricing models
Preparing monthly performance reporting
Maintaining data accuracy and integrity in online platform (Salesforce)
Assisting in building and maintaining automated processes
Researching and updating underlying corporate assumptions in the financial pricing model
Maintaining and improving the pricing model templates
Assisting in budgeting and quarterly forecasting
Analyzing data/trends and summarizing key metrics for reporting
Documenting processes and maintaining records

Education and Experience
Minimum education: BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required
3-6 years related experience in FP&A, investment banking, or consulting
Experience with Adaptive Planning and SalesForce preferred
Salary Range:
$90,000-$105,000 annually. Exact pay will be determined based on candidate experience, and geographical location
