Operation Support Staff - Level 4
Pay Grade 10: $17.69 - $18.79 hourly (based upon education/experience)
Length: 8 hours daily/205 days yearly
Reports To: Building Principal
Fully benefitted to include: medical, dental, vision, life insurances; sick and personal days as well as state retirement (PERF).
Qualifications:
High School diploma.
Three years job experience or graduation from a recognized school of secretarial or bookkeeping school and two years job experience; or two years successful employment within this district or in another district of comparable size.
Must have exceptional customer services skills.
Must have strong computer skills.
Responsibilities:
Manages the organization, label, and classifying of documents (physical and electronic) systematically.
Inputs data accurately, updates files, and retrieves information requested as necessary
Ensure compliance and data protection and maintain file security.
Answers inquiries, provides information and assists with document searches.
Provides supplemental support to other office areas in the building to include the receptionists and attendance clerks.
Meets and interacts daily with staff, students, parents and general public on school related/student matters.
Assists with obtaining student records and enrolling new students, as well as sending records to requesting schools.
Maintains student disciplinary files.
Organizes and maintains office filing systems, files correspondence and other records.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Principal and/or other designee.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or nonprescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the Corporation.
