Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative functions; Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, and takes minutes; Composes memos, transcribes notes, and researches and creates presentations; Generates reports, handles multiple projects, and prepares and verifies invoices and Expense Reports; may assist with compiling and developing the Annual Budget; This position relies on guidance and some experience and judgment to complete job and works under general supervision.

Project Assistance
Assists in organizing and participates in special projects and events (i.e., ceremonies, school assemblies, faculty/department workshops) to ensure mission alignment and successful outcomes
Document and Data Management
Manages documents and data files systemically, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational standards
Building/Office Functions
Answers phone professionally, receives shipments, places work orders for building issues, answers door, unlocks buildings
File Management
Coordinates and organizes meetings as needed, prepares agendas, notifies members, attends meetings, and records minutes
Document Composition
Composes memos and other documents with clarity and professionalism, adhering to the organization's standard for communication
Calendar Management
Accurately schedules appointments, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and schedules are updated promptly
Collaborates with faculty and administrators to reserve meeting/class/space
Administrative Support
Provides administrative support to the Program Director/Faculty/Department
Professional Development
Continuously seeks opportunities for professional growth and development, staying informed about industry
Other Duties as Assigned
Perform other duties, as assigned or requested
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
Four (4) years in a professional office setting
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent
TRAINING
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
SPECIAL SKILLS
Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills
