Database Services Associate - (Part-Time/Medical Benefit Eligible) Location: Saint Louis Zoo Forest Park Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly Starting Hourly Rate: $17.00 Position Summary: Provide phone coverage for the Zoo Membership Office, including handling and selling membership gifts and Zoo Parents Program gifts over the phone, as well as using computer systems to answer questions about payment history, Tribute Fund contributions, and other general Zoo membership inquiries as needed. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include data entry and assisting with other tasks as assigned by the Database Manager and Database Services Supervisor. Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience with business phone operations, customer service, and proficiency in word processing on a PC are required. Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT software and other database programs is strongly preferred. Candidates must be able to project a professional and friendly image on the phone, demonstrate excellent communication skills, handle and prioritize multiple tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully and cohesively in a team environment are also required. All successful candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background check. Work Schedule: Candidate must be available to work from 8 a.m. -5 p.m. per shift and have a flexible work schedule, which includes weekdays and weekends.
