
IT Staffing Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to grow our IT staffing business through a combination of new client acquisition (hunter) and account expansion (farmer). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment and has a strong track record of building relationships and delivering staffing solutions across technology organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business development by identifying, targeting, and securing new client relationships
Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities across IT staffing and consulting services
Develop and grow existing client accounts through upselling and cross-selling
Partner closely with recruiting teams to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction
Conduct client meetings (virtual and in-person) to understand hiring needs and position solutions
Negotiate contracts, rates, and terms with clients
Stay informed on market trends, hiring demand, and competitor activity
Consistently meet or exceed revenue and activity targets
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in IT staffing or technical recruiting sales
Proven track record of new logo acquisition (hunter) and account growth (farmer)
Strong network within technology, engineering, or data-driven organizations
Experience selling contract staffing, contract-to-hire, and direct hire solutions
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the NYC / NJ market preferred, but open to other robust markets
Background selling into industries such as fintech, SaaS, healthcare, or enterprise technology
Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
Highly motivated, competitive, and results-driven mindset
Competitive base salary + uncapped commission
