Systems Engineer - Verification and Integration (Lead or Senior) – B-52J Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP), Oklahoma City, OK
As a key contributor and team lead, you will lead the verification efforts with internal and external stakeholders from Critical Design Review (CDR) through System Verification Review (SVR).
You will work with a high-performing, cross-functional team, driving next-generation capabilities from design through delivery.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead a cross-functional team of systems engineers and technical professionals in the development and execution of the program verification plan
Lead a cross-functional team of engineers in all aspects of integration planning and execution
Work closely with other engineering functions to perform inspections, analysis to include analyzing test results, and demonstrations to ensure compliance to requirements
Interface with Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) to ensure the aircraft test program supports the needs defined in the system verification plan
Mentor early career engineers in the planning and execution of the system integration and verification efforts
Support project planning and status activities including proposals as needed
Provide support to control account managers (CAMs) to status cost, schedule, and execution of all work packages within the team
This position is expected to be 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
9+ years' experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or verification
2+ years’ experience leading or supervising engineering teams
Experience performing complex systems engineering or system integration work
Systems engineering experience in major DoD acquisition programs
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
14+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Experience with system integration, to include planning and executing integration tests
Experience as Technical Lead Engineer (TLE) in verification
Experience in developing verification plans and executing verification efforts for major DoD acquisition programs
Experience with systems engineering best practices and processes
Experience working within the Systems Engineering Lifecycle including Critical Design Reviews, System Verification Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and/or Technical Working Groups
Experience using artifact management tools such as CMPro, DOORS, and Cameo
