Bern's Steak House's customer care team strives to ensure that our patrons have a memorable evening by helping to curate every detail of their dining experience. From providing caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic service over the phone to communicating guest needs to the appropriate departments, this position requires a high level of attention to detail and ability to multitask in a very fast-paced call center environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

Handle high volume of inbound and outbound calls in an expedient and professional manner

Input accurate reservations and special requests into OpenTable and digital reservation system

Answer customer inquiries regarding history, policies, procedures, site navigation, operations

Communicate messages and special requests to management in a precise and clear way

Help to resolve customer dissatisfaction and technical problems

Collaborate with other departments to support overall operations and enhance the guest experience

Provide administrative, general office and clerical services as requested

Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience in customer service is preferred

Previous experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality preferred

Must work efficiently both independently and in a team setting

Ability to balance timeliness and accuracy under pressure

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask

Must possess excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
