Responsibilities Develop design plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates for public bidding on roadway projects.
Provide support and guidance for junior staff; manage client and sub-consultant coordination.
Track project budgets and assist in delegation of tasks to supporting staff.
Apply basic knowledge of survey data collection, land rights, and regulatory permitting.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree – Civil Engineering
Relevant internship or 1–4 years of progressive responsibility in Civil Engineering; recent grads considered
EIT (preferred)
Experience with AutoCAD and AutoTurn (preferred)
Experience with MassDOT standards and deliverables (a plus)
Ability to work in a team environment as an individual contributor
Organized with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time across multiple projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use critical thinking, judgment, and experience to define, analyze, and resolve issues

Salary range: $76,000–$92,000
The salary range displayed is a good-faith estimate of base pay. The final offer will be determined based on experience, skills, education, and market conditions. The salary range does not include additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses or benefits.
